PRO TOOLS INTRODUCTION

This seminar is designed to show you the techniques used by the experts who have worked in the big studios. It will help you in running your home studio in a professional manner by giving you the confidence to whiz through the most complex of challenges. Everything from audio and MIDI connections to synchronous setups and shortcuts will be shown. Digi 02 rack is the model we work with but the console and 01 will not be left out. The money you will save in the hardware we recommend will more than pay for this seminar.

We are comprised of musicians and engineers who have experience with with DigiDesign's Pro Tools and other major computer recording products on both Mac and Windows operating systems.

Mixing in Pro Tools is one of the most challenging things you can do as a recording engineer! You'll learn how to mix the basics in Pro Tools.

This tutorial is geared towards users of DigiDesign's Pro Tools because Pro Tools is the most common software package used for recording and mixing in both commercial and home recording studio environments. Industry standard compatibility is an important feature of Pro Tools; you can start your project in almost any studio in the world, and take it to another one seamlessly.

Pro Tools 100
This course material is the basic introduction to Pro Tools, teaching you what you need to know to complete a Pro Tools project, from initial set up to final mixdown. From recording of live instruments, MIDI sequencing of software synthesizers, to audio looping, this course will teach you basic Pro Tools skills. You will gain hands on experience through class exercise projects. Prerequisites: Basic computer skills and some basic audio recording knowledge.
